Ramsbottom Cup
Foulridge 1st v Ribblesdale Wanderers 2nd
Ribblesdale won the toss and elected to bat. They never recovered from a collapse from 27-1 to 29-5, being bowled out for just 71 in 24 overs. Abrar Sarwar 3-25 and Rashid Rasheed 4-4 did the damage.
In reply, Foulridge took only 13.2 overs to reach the target, Muhammad Khubaib top scored with 24 not out.
Little Lever v Tonge
Little Lever won the toss and elected to field.
Tonge openers Daniel Holt 31 and Umair Ali put on 41 for the first wicket. Tonge lost wickets on a regular basis, but had a total to bowl at thanks to runs from Syed Shah 20 and Rob Tully who top scored with 36. Louis Partington took 4-23 with a couple of wickets each for Simon Harrison and Paul Hewart.
In reply, Little Lever openers Leon Tennant 52, including 10 fours and a six and Preston Hayhurst put on 83. Michael Daley 23 not out joined Hayhurst and they saw Little Lever home by 7 wickets with 5 overs to spare. Hayhurst ended on 65 not out including 12 fours.
Lawrenson Cup
Astley Bridge 2nd v Feniscowles 2nd
Feniscowles batting first posted a total of 122-9, Reza Hussain 33 top scored with 22 from Andy Allen. Ramesh Patel took 3-15.
A third wicket partnership of 87 proved decisive between Zain Ahmed 36 not out and James Cooper who made 51 including 4 fours and 3 sixes as Astley Bridge reached their target with nearly 20 overs to spare.
Blackrod 2nd v Barrowford 1st
Opener Mark Glover made 51 for Blackrod and another 51 this time not out from Jack Southworth enabled them to post a score of 180 all out. Ulfat Ali took 3-19.
Barrowford Captain and Opener Jonny Ormerod played sheet anchor making 50, Ansar Mahmood made 41 but Barrowford continued to lose wickets or a regular basis and were eventually all out for 164 with three overs remaining to give Blackrod a 16 run victory.
Owen Moss took 3-23 and Alfie Smethurst 3-35.
