The Anthony Axford North West Cricket League which was formed in 2022 by the merger of the Bolton League and the Ribbblesdale League are looking for suitable Clubs to join the League from the 2024 season. The League consists of 23 Senior League Clubs, who will be divided into two Leagues (The Premiership and the Championship) from the 2024 Season, with promotion and relegation of two up two down.

The League also has a Conference, 32 teams for mainly Second Teams with some First teams that do not have a team in the Premier League.

There is also a Development Division for Third Teams that plays mainly on Sundays.

The NWCL runs an extensive Junior League as well as an Inter League Teams at all levels.

The League runs several Cup Competitions including a Senior 20/20 Cup and a 20/20 Cup for Third Teams.
