PRO CRICKET ACADEMIES
The U15’s T/20 Mersey Cup Competition
On the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of July, this annual tournament for U15s, was played at Timperley CC, Altrincham. Teams played 2 x T/20s matches per day in a league format with the winners & runners up teams both receiving trophies.
The teams involved this year included:
Pro Cricket Academies U15’s – Warriors
Bradford Grammar U15’s – Superkings
Leeds Grammar U15’s – Outlaws
Merseyside XI – Sunrisers
All teams had the benefit of Masterclasses in power hitting. The sessions were delivered by Brad Donlan (Sussex & Somerset CCC & Head Coach Pro Cricket Academies).
Four scorers, from the North West Cricket League, Tracey Brooks, Bryn Hubbart, Liam Boyle and Stephen Merry were invited to score these games and Kevin Boyle was one of the umpires .
