NWCL Conference Divisions by Ray Taylor

Walkden lead the table in the Anthony Axford North West Cricket League Conference Premier Division with 55 points from six matches. On Saturday they dismissed Little Lever for 142 before going on to win with the loss of four wickets.
In second are Barrowford with 53 from five. Read were bowled out for 121, Abid Ul Wahab 3-29. Wahab then top scored for Barrowford with 46 not out in a six wicket win.
There were four wickets for Adnad Khan in Foulridge’s 141, but from 81-3 Farnworth fell twenty runs short Vipin Viswambharan making the difference with 5-23.
Harvey Vause carried his bat in the Salesbury innings, opening the batting and reaching his century off the last ball of the innings. He was also involved in a century partnership with Ethan Salt who contributed a half century. There was a similar approach from Ali Hussnain for Farnworth Social Circle, who opened and was still at the crease with 75 runs when the final runs were scored, giving Circle a three wicket win.
Abdul Irsan had 4-32 as Burnley Belvedere reached 174. This was almost a hundred too many for Ribblesdale Wanderers with Nabeel Ul Rahman 5-13.
Burnley Belvedere firsts top the Conference second division with 57 points from seven matches. Atherton were dismissed for 43, four wickets for Majid Khan and three apiece for Abbas Ali and Hamid Zaman, Belvedere going on to win by ten wickets.
Feniscowles lie second with 53 points from six. Simon Turner set them on their way to 192 with 62 runs, Padiham then responded with 123, Joe Callaghan 7-41 and Haany Nazir 3-3.
A middle order 55 for Henry Hindle left Eagley chasing 196, but after a promising start at 67-1 they could only total 81, Hindle rounding off a fine performance for Baxenden with 6-12 and Muhammad Nadeem chipping in with 3-14.
Earby lead the third tier with a maximum 72 points from six. Henry Wheatcroft top scored with 54 in their 194-6, then the Lockley’s Lucas and Jason took 6-23 and 4-28 respectively as Foulridge could only make 51.
M Nerenberg made 57 for Chatburn, E Ali taking 4-26 in their 192. Feniscowles got to 79-2, but 5-25 for S Perry reduced them to 148 all out.
Maneeb Ali took 5-25 in Barrowford’s 47 all out, Oswaldtwistle Immanuel winning without loss.
In the closest match of the day, sixty runs for Andrew Martin helped Tonge from 34-6 to 125, Said Oryakhil 4-39. At 121-6 Kearsley were very much in the driving seat, but four wickets fell for four runs leaving the match tied, Harry Naylor 5-30, Syed Ahmed 3-7.

Read lead the way in the Anthony Axford North West Cricket League Conference Premier Division with 49 points from 6 games, followed by Walkden with 43 from five.
On a day when several matches were affected by the weather, Oliver Dinning contributed 126 to Read’s 302-9. Farnworth’s response of 260 owed a lot to a last wicket partnership of 88, M Khalil coming in at ten and making 87.
Seventy runs for Aashif Ghantiwala and 60 for Hirza Sudhail  helped Farnworth Social Circle recover from 92-6 to reach 220. Walkden were 126-8, but Mehan Anwar and Sajid Mahmood steered them to a two wicket win.
Jack Fielding had 4-30 in Cherry Tree’s 167-6, then Harry Stevenson with 5-26 helped dismiss Ribblesdale Wanderers for 131.
Chasing Salesbury’s 208-6 (D Rawson 72, E Salt 65 and A Anwar 4-34), S Pushpakaran helped Foulridge to 168-3, but they were only able to muster a further 16 runs, the last four wickets falling for two runs, E Salt 3-21, D Rawson 3-25.
In the second division, Atherton have 41 points from 5 and Padiham 39. Atherton’s 130-9 (M Khan 3-18) proved to be 12 too many for Burnley Belvedere with F Shah taking 4-30 and I Nuttall 4-51.
Chasing Barnoldswick’s 113, Hafeez Ul Wakas 52, Darren Parr 4-51, Lostock won by seven wickets, Amit Dashore 63 not out.
On Sunday there were four wickets for Ady Cooper in Astley Bridge’s eight wicket win against Blackrod, and a similar number for H Nazir in Feniscowles six wicket victory at Barnoldswick. There were half centuries for Kevin Hitchon and Finlay Best as Brinscall defeated Padiham. Haider Ali contributed a half century in Baxenden’s 95, Uzair Ahmed 5-20, but Majid Khan coming in at eight for Burnley Belvedere made 58 not out taking Burnley Belvedere to a one wicket win, Evan Pinder 5-24.
Earby lead the third division with 60 points from five matches. K Mara struck 57 in their 224, with K Ishfaq taking 5-44 for Foulridge seconds who were then bowled out for 141, D Harrison 4-48.
A Ahmed took 4-20 as Oswaldtwistle Immanuel totalled 155. Feniscowles chased down a reduced total to win by four wickets.
