The North West Cricket League has carefully reviewed various factors and has decided to reschedule the fixtures originally set for 27th April. Following valuable feedback from member clubs, thorough analysis of current and future weather forecasts, and a unanimous vote during tonight’s league meeting, it has been determined that moving the fixtures to 21st September and the Ramsbottom Cup fixtures to the 5th May is the most appropriate course of action.
This decision aligns with the league’s overarching mission to maintain a high standard of cricket. By allowing grounds additional time to enhance playing conditions, we aim to ensure that all teams have the best possible environment to showcase their skills and compete at their best. The NWCL values the input of its members and remains committed to upholding the quality and integrity of the sport within the league.
