Lancs KO Review
By Ray Taylor
The North West Cricket League will have three representatives in the LCF Lancs KO second round.
Salesbury’s 209-7 give them a 148 run victory against Manchester Stallions. There was a half century for Max Perry in Farnworth SC’s 210 to which Cheshire Lines responded with 157 and Read’s 254 was 53 too many for Settle.
On the downside, Fulwood and Broughton recovered from 6-3 to reach 255-9 while Padiham slumped from 80-0 to 162 all out, with Jack Edgar recording a half century. Lesiba Ngoeepe’s 67 was responsible for almost half Astley Bridge’s total in their eight wicket defeat to Clitheroe and Lankit Lamba’s 122 was in vain as Blackrod finished 74 runs adrift chasing Longridge’s 297. St Anne’s defeated Farnworth.
Elsewhere Wigan recorded possibly the biggest win in the competition’s history smashing 323-4 with Rainhill reaching 32. At the opposite end of the competitive scale Garstang required five runs with five wickets remaining against Darwen but lost by one run.

Blackpool 213-4, Denton SL 171
Roe Green 144, Northern 146-1
